Hi Everyone,
Today is my 1 week adoption day! We had an adoption day party. Did you know Adoption Days are more special than birthdays since not everyone has one! Mom and Dad say I'm a keeper. I don't quite understand this. How can I be a keeper when my name is Cooper? Well, I'll figure this out like I have a lot of things this past week! It's been a great week. Rusty, Callie and I are now great buddies. They even let me up on the bed with them during the day. I can't sleep with Mom and Dad at night because I'm just too big. But I know they love me any way. I went to the vet's on Friday and got a heartworm test and my Lyme shot. Also got my flea/tick and heartworm prevention meds. Dr. Grossman also gave me a free pig's ear. Sounds disgusting but it was good. I weighted 70 pounds. We're going to try to fatten me up a bit to about 75 pounds. I'll have to be careful since bathing suit time is coming up.
I start Obedience School tonight. Mom says I don't need it but that it will be fun. One whole hour devoted to only me! I like the sound of that.
I've been on the golf cart for a ride. Still not sure about that. It's a little scary. In fact, Mom says I'm some what of a sissy. But I'm learning to adjust to new things more each day. I plan to stop in next week to see everyone. So, so long till then. And, again thanks for helping me find my forever family!
Love,
Cooper Ellis
