Join us for St. Patty's Day!Join the Outer Banks SPCA at the Kelly's St. Patrick's Day Parade! We intend to be bigger and better than ever this year while we show off some of our dogs for adoption! We will be bringing an SPCA van and our Emergency Response Vehicle decorated for the festivities. There will be special "goodies" for the kids, too! The featured pet this week at the Outer Banks S.P.C.A./ Dare County Animal Shelter is “Debrin” (although we have been calling him hippy cat). This unusual long-haired male came to the Shelter after having to live in a car with two dogs for most of the Christmas season! The owner was homeless and staying with a relative but not permitted to bring the animals in the house. After a while the owner realized that the animals deserved better and they were surrendered to the Shelter.
